Ski and Snowboard Workshop Technician - Workshop Manager

Do you have a growth mindset and a positive future vision? Are you able to add value to our ever-growing ski and snowboard workshop? We run a year round workshop that is constantly busy and varied.

We are looking for a full-time, long-term team member to take ownership of all aspects of managing our servicing workshop. To thrive in this role you would need in depth knowledge and experience of ski and snowboard servicing and repairs and the desire to continuously learn and help the rest of your team do the same.

You will actively work within the workshop with tasks including the following:

  • Ski and snowboard servicing, using machines and hand tools
  • Repair work, including replacing edges, patching, repairing delaminations
  • Preparing new race skis
  • Servicing and upkeep of servicing machines
  • Ordering of spare parts, liaising with our sales team and suppliers to process re-orders
  • Binding mounting using jigs and as we specialise in the more unusual side of skiing also using calculated measurements
  • Binding testing
  • Your responsibilities will also include working managing our team of servicing technicians and apprentice trainees, including thorough and ongoing staff training.
  • You will also be helping to build and maintain our long-term relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure continued sales growth.


Our consumer servicing products are also a big part of our company - you will be trained on all consumer servicing products so you will have the ability to help and advise customers on which ski servicing products are appropriate for them and how to use them. We would also like you to be able to impart your knowledge and give servicing lessons (using hand tools) to our customers.

During the off-season you would also undertake and learn general shop maintenance skills.

  • Keen to learn and keep up to date with current products within the world of ski, snowboard and skateboard
