Ski Bartlett was founded in 1965 and is one of the largest independently run specialist ski shops in the UK. We are a friendly family owned business, with a niche for specialist areas of the ski industry, including racing, freestyle, freeride, touring and telemark skiing.
Sputnik was founded in 1999 as a specialist snowboard offshoot of Ski Bartlett. Sputnik also encompasses skateboarding and the associated lifestyle clothing.
Ski Bartlett and Sputnik have an enviable reputation for providing specialist advice to all our customers on what is correct for their chosen discipline and ability level.

Online Product Coordinator
Are you able to add value to our fast growing e-commerce website?
Are you good at following processes and inputting accurate data?
We are looking for a full-time long-term team member.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accuracy of content on our e-commerce site, inputting new products with the ability to write accurate product descriptions and with responsibility for website optimization, design and promotions. Your responsibilities will also include training other team members in website product data inputting and troubleshooting.
You will also be responsible for liaising with our E-commerce Mail Order Department to ensure all aspects of customer orders can be processed and completed in a timely manner and troubleshoot any mail order system problems if they occur.
Your role will also be to manage and oversee our EPOS stock management system, ensuring accurate and consistent data inputting and ensuring a seamless link between the EPOS system and the website system. You must have the ability to troubleshoot anything that is not working, escalate them to the relevant companies to fix and then follow through to make sure they are completed.
You will also be heavily involved with the future vision of using technology to streamline processes across the whole company, making it more efficient and giving a better customer experience. You will also work with the various external providers to integrate any new software and procedures into the company and help train staff on using any new systems.
Applicants must enjoy learning, being stretched to grow, and will ultimately be an integral part of all our sales and marketing operations.

Graphic design software - Photoshop or similar
Website optimisation best practices and implementation
Knowledge of current e-commerce trends and website design
SEO basics and optimising content for search
Use of Google Tools such as:- Analytics and Adwords
Experience with EPOS or content management systems
Digital marketing best practices and implementation
Good at working within a team and collaborating on ideas and best practices
