Their backpacks contain a sophisticated airbag system which not only provides flotation in the event of a slide, it also provides impact protection for your head and neck should you be swept into trees or over a cliff. Snowpulse backpacks are no substitute for being well drilled with a transceiver, shovel and probe but if you're after even more protection then they really are the best.
